Post Procedure Follow-up

We typically schedule your re-evaluation follow-up visit three months after treatment, which includes a control ultrasound scan. We strongly encourage patients to return for their 3-month follow-up visit after undergoing varicose vein treatment. It’s important to note that with phlebectomies, it can typically take up to 6 to 8 months for all signs to disappear. The control visit, utilizing ultrasound, allows us to assess if everything is progressing normally.

Rarely, follow-up treatments requiring phlebectomies, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, or specific laser/radio frequency touch-ups are necessary.

If you’d like to schedule a regular annual follow-up, our medical secretary can assist you. It’s worth noting that varicose vein issues can evolve and may sometimes become chronic. Regular control visits enable us to prevent evolving conditions and identify any new varicose vein complications from developing.
